Do you need to know if I want a French mani/pedi prior to apt?
Yes. Please note on booking if you would like a French polish and if booking online select the add on ‘French polish’. There is no extra charge for French.
What do I need to bring?
For pedicures please bring open toed sandals to allow the nail polish to completely dry, this takes approx. 60 minutes to be completely dry through all layers.
What is Gel polish?
Gel polish is an alternative to regular varnish and is instantly dry. The nails are ‘cured’ under an LED machine and you can go about your day without having to worry about smudging the nails.
Is LED light safe for my nails?
Yes LED is completely safe for your nails – there are no clinically studies that contradict this.
Do gel nails damage my nails?
No. Contrary to stories gel application does not damage your nails. What damages the nails is improper removal – do not pick the gel polish off. All our staff are trained in gel nails to preform safe removal without damaging the nail plate.
Do my nails need to breathe, shall I have a rest?
No the nails do not need to breath. The nails are made of keratin which is a type of protein within the body and protects the nails from damage. The nails do not need to breathe as they receive their nutrients and oxygen from the blood stream and not from the air.
