Skin and Beauty Clinic is an established beauty salon in Tenterden, Kent. The Clinic has been open for over 10 years with highly qualified beauty therapists. We are a quality results-based skin and beauty clinic with an emphasis on skin health. Our team of therapists deliver a high level of service and client care whilst using brands driven by science.

All our therapists are approachable, friendly and professional, with many of our clients visiting us since the very beginning of the Clinic.

The facial brands we have chosen to stock in the salon are CACI, Environ, Dermalux LED, SkinPen, here is a little bit more about them.

CACI

The new CACI Synergy system combines the functionality of our two best-selling systems, the CACI Ultra and the CACI Ultimate and introduces pioneering S.P.E.D™ microcurrent LED technology, a breakthrough new advancement in microcurrent therapy.

For the first time on the market, our skincare specialists are able to harness the power of LED light therapy at the same time as using microcurrent. The dual action of simultaneous LED and microcurrent energy stimulates tissue regeneration and helps in the production of collagen. The synergy of these two technologies provides more visible and longer-lasting results.

The CACI Synergy offers: new S.P.E.D™ microcurrent LED technology, orbital dermabrasion, ultrasonic peeling and CACI’s unique Wrinkle Comb (a non-invasive alternative to dermal fillers).

Donna, Sarah-Jayne and Olivia are our CACI trained therapist, with Sarah-Jayne being a CACI fanatic and qualified in 2010. There is a vast amount of CACI facials on offer with the synergy system, and that’s where a thorough consultation comes in to help you choose the right one for your skin.

We offer Environ DF Machine facials and Environ Cool Peel Facials

Environ DF Machine

The pioneering Environ Ionzyme® DF Machine combines two sophisticated technologies – low-frequency Sonophoresis (sound waves) and pulsed Iontophoresis (electric current). Dual electro-sonic technology creates tiny pathways in the skin to assist in delivering more essential nutrients to where they are needed most, ensuring beautiful, healthy skin for life.

Environ Cool Peel

Dr Des Fernandes, a world-renown plastic surgeon and founder of Environ skincare, developed an innovative peel that is gentle to the skin without the downtime of deep peels, not causing any trauma to the skin. Cool Peel treatments use Lactic Acid at various pH levels and percentages to tailor to your needs. There are 2 introductory Cool Peel treatments, Deep Cleansing Cool Peel and Moisture Boost Cool Peel, the other 4 Cool Peels are for skins that have been prepped by Environs vitamin A moisturiser for a period of 3 weeks.

We also offer traditional hands-on facials using Environ products with a focus on relaxation and well-being.

SkinPen

SkinPen is our newest addition to the Clinic and exclusively done by our therapist/trainee nurse Ellie. SkinPen is Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) and is a skin rejuvenation procedure that helps to improve your skin’s appearance by stimulating its natural ability to produce collagen and repair itself.

The SkinPen micro-needling device offers five features that make this non-invasive but effective procedure the right choice for problem skin. SkinPen by Crown Aesthetics is the first FDA-cleared micro-needling device on the market and is clinically proven to improve the appearance of acne scars in patients ages 22 and older. Dermalux

Dermalux® delivers skin specific treatments using combinations of clinically proven Blue, Red and Near Infrared wavelengths to boost collagen and elastin production, improve circulation, reduce redness and irritation and blitz blemish causing bacteria.

Utilising the latest generation LED technology, Dermalux® ensures a safe and targeted delivery of light at the optimum intensity for maximum skin enhancing results.

We are fully insured and a member of BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology). Ellie has the most prestigious qualification in beauty CIDESCO (Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie) and is soon to be a qualified registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) her medical knowledge and background assure you, you are in safe hands and is meticulous about passing on her knowledge to her hand picked team. BABTAC have introduced a ‘Book in for Beauty’ campaign, encouraging clients that beauty is safe when choosing a professional salon, who are experienced in ensuring the highest levels of health and safety… aka is it a BABTAC verified salon?
